Lima, Peru 10/2 - 10/3

With no decent conections between Cusco and São Paulo, we added a quick stop in Lima to our itinerary. At first glance the city doesn't appear to have much to offer tourists but with some research we found plenty to keep us busy for a few days. Here's what made the final cut for our single day in Lima.

Checked out the upscale Miraflores district, ate ceviche, and at night we checked out the Parque de la Reserva, aka The Magic Water Cirquit Park.
Laser show projected on the mist from the fountains. For the not so daring.
Fountains for the slightly daring.
Fountains for the daring.

If we had more time we would have enjoyed experiencing more of the city's food scene by taking a cooking class and checking out the up and coming restaurants -- especially the budding incorporation of Amazonian foods.
