I wanted to do something really special for my sister (Catrina) and oldest cousin (Larissa) when asking them to be my bridesmaids, something that really spoke to them about our strong connection. With a bit of brainstorming and a little inspiration from other blogs, I decided that a handmade photo book was the way to go. All three of us were in girl scouts, we're pretty crafty and all appreciate a handmade gifts.
It took several trips to various craft and art stores to collect a variety of materials that reflected the nature theme of the wedding but I think it was worth the effort. What I didn't expect to be difficult was finding eight picture throughout the years of only larissa + me and catrina + me. There were so many favorites or pictures of the three of us together.The inside front and back covers both had a special message to both Larissa and Catrina. The pages in the center were snap shots taken throughout the years with each one of my bridesmaids.
Both ladies were surprised and touched with the gift - and both excepted my invitation to be my bridesmaids.
